Please listen, this is not the way. It does not work, it will kill players and make it harder to get new players to join long term.
If you implement this system you will kill off new players and f2p/light spenders. If I have 0 chance of beating people in PVP because they have been around day 1 and whale 24/7 on R9 teams I will never be able to even exist in the same stratosphere as them.
Imagine a new player that joins GA to not only get dunked in carbonite by someone with multiple GLs that only plays when facing guppies, but you literally cannot even kill 1 of their toons because everything they placed on defense is 4-5 relic lvls higher than you with 0 chance of killing them...
We would be more incentivized to adopt something like 7* mods - or a way to augment our current mods. Capstone mods (1 per character) permanent - datacron adjacent, but weaker. ez monetization plan for little work and can feel very rewarding to grind up a capstone on each toon - would feel good once you get them, but not as OP as certain datacrons...
Give it a thought - rework TW. Make it where we control planets and must wipe out the other guild or control the most planets at the end of 24 hours. like a SWBF2 galactic conquest. Would be some work to implement, but would provide a unique battle every single TW... Would include battles on planets, ship battles, could be expanded for planet size based on guild GP. We don't need a billion slots on each planet either, would emphasize attacking and it would be ok if one planet swung back and forth via control multiple times! Additional layers of strategy - someone put entire r9 GL wall on Mustafar - ignore it and go for other planet, those units are stuck there!
