In cg's defense the reason MSF did it was to force people to g20 the worse characters to get the maximum overpower benefit. I don't like it because like overpower it reduces the value of the things I have done to my account.

There will be zero value in any relic upgrade when the user community stops playing and paying. The game will eventually get shuttered, so those R9 upgrades are just a bottomless pit. Stop giving CG your money!
