The team is currently in deep development on our next major update, and we wanted to give you a preview of what we’re working on. As we get closer to release, we will have more to share.
So, what's in the works?
Closed Playtest
We're thrilled to announce that we’ll be working with a select group of players in a closed playtest to get feedback on a major upcoming feature.
While they won’t be able to stream or record video (many assets are still placeholders), they WILL be able to openly discuss what they're testing, share their thoughts with you, and talk about the feedback they're giving the team.
The feature they'll be testing revolves around power differentials and Relic Amplifier levels. We are internally referring to this as the "Relic Delta" but that is a working title that will not be the name of the system upon release.
Can I join the closed playtest?
As of right now, we are keeping it to an already selected small group, but if we get to the point where we want to open it up to more people, we will make sure folks are aware of those opportunities.
What is Relic Delta?
In short it will be a non-linear way for Relics to scale based on the match up, ie, how does a Relic 5 match up against a Relic 9 team.
The team is aware this system can affect current playstyles, which is why it is important to us that this lands in the best spot possible.
We don’t have information to provide at this time as things will be actively adjusted from the feedback provided by those in the closed playtest.
