I can tell you that both as customers and as gamers, we'd prefer even "We're having some technical difficulties but are working on it. We'll keep you posted." to just being out-and-out ignored. Otherwise we're checking in to see if it's dropped (to help with GAC and other events, including ones like TB, where Malgus is a requirement). Each time we check is a reminder not only that things aren't flowing smoothly in the game in regards to these rewards but that we have poor communication from the developers, that we aren't given clear expectations, and that a game largely built on planning and optimizing based on expected drops and patterns is VERY unpredictable and uncertain (for example, the unbeatable Grievous that wasn't fixed for months and lost us numerous Zetas).
I LOVE this game. My son LOVES watching me play and discussing the characters and ships. I've made lots of friends through this game. I hope to keep playing for many years.
That said, we aren't asking a ton. Just a check in, acknowledgement of the big gap in communication, and maybe, if the stars align, the setting of a reasonable window within which to expect said rewards.
