This is really concerning. Looks like the death of FTP as you won't be able to make any decent progress without purchasing at least the cheaper pass. I suspect the $40 pass will be needed to keep up with new content.
Then we have the raid system which will probably require more spending, as well as conquest which requires spending to get characters within a decent timeframe.
I wonder how long it will be until they decide to remove the top 5 fleet placement crystals? Then players will be forced to spend £100 per month just to keep the same crystal income. This is the last bastion of hope for non whales.
I really love SWGOH and CG have done a great job creating and developing it over the years but this looks like it's gonna be a real kick in the nuts for lower spenders like me.
I love in hope that the game will continue to attract players ranging from FTP to Whales but it's looking bleak right now.
