I understand the change, it's making a lot more sense in this post than the other with the added explanation. I still have 3 concerns remaining:
1.) relic & gear drop rates: If there aren't significant changes to the amount of gear and relics that drop during farming then it will take a long time for my roster to be viable again. I'm taking Tarkin to R9 for the raid right now, and without things like the assault battles I would be struggling to keep up. But that's just 1 character. Am I going to have to bring all my characters to R9 to be viable at all?
2.) the percentages chosen. My first question leads into my second one. If relic delta affects a R7 team fighting a R9 team by a total damage intake+output of >40% then I would need to take my entire roster to R9 to play GAC & TW, the two things I enjoy most. Keep it simple, don't be greedy, 5% per relic level diff on each side. That way, there's still a chance for those of us who want to spend less money on the game and still enjoy ourselves
3.) assault battles only catering to newer teams. O know the current episode system has episode specific battles for those units to get their shards. That's understandable and helpful. However, don't just make assault battles cater to new teams. Those of us who built up other parts of our rosters to hunt GL's will suffer if that's the case. Additionally, with single shard drop rates, that highly desensitizes me from getting those characters and will affect individuals being able to remain in their guilds. Essentially getting priced out since we won't drop $100's on the game
bonus: would love to see rewarded video ads. This would be a win for CG even if the drop rates are awful and I get 5 crystals a day from it, I'd still watch
