You did not address my biggest issue in your post. Relic delta removes some of the strategy from your game. Those who have spent thousands of dollars pushing their relatively new account up into kyber, strategically using their materials to maximize their accounts, are one of the groups directly attacked. I agree you have done an impressive job carefully adding power creep with new toons... now just make relics more beneficial without artificially lowering the stats of lower relic teams. All of the reasons why you think increasing stats on higher relics is a bad idea can be copied and pasted into why Relic delta is a bad idea, you are not fixing those issues.
Also note that this is not a new idea. From what I have seen games that introduce this system do not do well! I have not seen a single person say anything in support of this change, not a single one. Please understand how unpopular this is with your community. Factor that into your ROI.
A change that I would hate, but accept, would be to remove the damage decrease from the lower relic team and leave a reasonable damage increase on the higher one. But that is literally what fixing your relic stat scaling would do!!! And do not even joke about adding 100 speed, or ANY speed, to relic levels. Please dont mess with the importance of modding... If you did that, this is no longer a strategy game. This would become solely a relic flexing game.
