You are still wiping away years of work for people who built their roster around the old system. Whatever new system you bring in needs to have continuity with the old system. You're so worried about new accounts making the transition from lower to higher power levels, that you completely destroy the work of existing players overnight. Games don't lose players because they reveal new complexities in the gameplay as they progress. Games do lose players when you overturn every one of their investments overnight. How is this not at the top of your concerns?
You also are creating false dichotomies. There is no reason you can't ease the resource crunch on high relics AND implement a new relic regime starting at R10.
Basically, the game is too hard for you to balance, and you want to apply a sledgehammer solution. Do you understand that there are already a million flat, boring games where level is everything and kits mean almost nothing? You spin that like it's a bonus or something. The system "sticks with us?" C'mon! Say that gameplay is flat and strategy-free without saying it.
I enjoy your work over the years. I like the art. I like the kits. I like the gameplay for the most part. I'm not someone who complains just to complain. Yet the amount of investment to progress in this game is huge. It takes years of play and/or thousands of dollars. How do you think people are going to like having that all flipped overnight? Those "dolphins" who bought every LSB now get to realize that their low relic teams aren't competitive. You think they want to drop another grand on the new system and cross their fingers that you don't change it again? Those f2p players working 2.5 year farming plans are going to just plus ahead for another half decade and hope things don't change again?
You set the pace of the game. You had your chance to fix relics years ago, and you didn't. Now that you've made millions on them, you want to reset and start a whole new game? Why would I trust you?
