I believe this game has drifted so far away from the game that I played as a kid. It used to be about having fun and theorycrafting with characters you loved to see in Star Wars. Nowadays, in order to interact with new content in any meaningful way, you generally need to spend hundreds of dollars. This has happened time and time again with new rollouts, often with the new content being unbalanced (Leviathan, initial datacrons, certain raids). The new R10 and Relic Delta Layout is intended to be the same cash grab as it always has been. While I can understand the need for a more scalable progression, I think there are too many underlying issues in the community for you to continue these rollouts.
For example, the progression system is so far behind where it should be. The gap between a top roster and a starting player has never been wider, and never has it been so hard to reach the top. Multiple QOL or progression systems need to be revamped and accelerated. For example, you could make ships double drops and characters more than double. Not to mention, gear and relics need to be acquired much more easily. The amount of time necessary to take a single character to R9 from scratch is unbearable.
I won't get into any other issues in this post, though there are many others. Overall, this behavior from CG needs to stop. Please listen to your community, and for once, listen to the F2P community.
