Also: You state that you want to appreciate the players for their grind, but when the grind includes gearing teams to levels to be useful, and that seems to be less important than "I could lose to someone who simply bought a few high end packs($30 profundity pack basically grants a large bonus to moderate and low r5 teams for example).
You introduce several characters of interest to many, then basically shove things down the players throats that apparently only the mods wanted.
