Nothing you said here addresses the true issues the player base has. Let’s break it down shalll we?
1.) Punchups in PVP and PVE. You’re claiming this new system isn’t showing any kind of discrepancy or mass execution of counters and theory crafting. That is blatantly false. Your play testers are telling us that lower relic power house teams are losing to higher relic D grade teams because of the damage reduction punching up and the damage boost punching down. Stop the damage reduction. Let the higher relics hit harder to increase the difficulty but the damage reduction is ridiculous. Stop lying as well
2.) Forcing us to R9 toons. This is exactly what you’re doing. Right now getting relic mats is a nightmare and insanely pricey to get one single toon to R9. Bronzium wiring, signal data, the works. You claiming it’ll be better means nothing. To you a 1% increase is better and that we should be grateful for even that. Give us more details or else you’re just speaking empty promises
3.) Nobody wants this. Nobody and I mean NOBODY asked for this. What the player base has been asking for is fixes to long standing bugs in the game. More engaging content. More ships rather than just buffing Levi nonstop. Properly testing new kits before release and nerfs/buffs to those kits vs the most basic teams. Increase the quality of the game rather than try to strangle it for more money.
4.) Gear progression gone?. You said new toons won’t require gear or relic materials. Ok how? What’s the new method. You mentioned it but never followed up
5.) This has failed in other games. MSF just announced they’re going to be rolling back their version of this. Why? Because it was a failure. It drove players away, killed counters, strategy, punchups, etc. PvP all but died because of OP. Now you guys want to roll out an even worse version? That’s thick headed.
Ive been playing this game every day for 10 years. I’ve complained plenty but ive loved playing the game and being with my guild growing and experiencing all the game has to offer. If this goes through I’m honestly done. I won’t be a part of a game anymore where the development team blatantly ignores everyone in the community, kraken or F2P alike. I know plenty others who will quit and never look back either. Don’t do this.
