The free pass has the 24 kyros and enough currency to buy 234 more. As a free player, I'm alright with that 😂
Max you can buy in the stores is 16. With the 24 along the track, you’re up to 40 which is the exact same you can get from 8 GCs
but you can only buy 16 of them per episode, oopsy
Yea exactly. Same here. I rarely get red crate so to have an option to complete smaller more manageable quests to earn currency I can get Kyro’s is a win in my book.
Since the recent guild raid changes allowing me to buy the gear I need, my roster progress has moved forward significantly compared to before where I was just hoarding gear and hope to get piece I needed.
You are bold to assume that as a f2p player the smaller quests will be "more manageable" and not locked behind needing more toons geared up to be able to complete their various feats. I mean I'm staying cautiously optimistic myself, if done right these changes could be really good for a lot of people, however they could also be really bad if done wrong and judging by other recent events/changes I'm definitely not ready to jump to the conclusion that they will without a doubt be the former.
Also just because you don't get red crate now, many people are able to get at least to the crate with 2 omi in it, but here they are only giving you 4 omi unless you buy more with currency, problem is if you go that route that means less kyros for you so you can't take max possible amount for both, one of them has to be reduced for every one of the other you grab.
You get 40 per month now from red crate, assuming you're able to max all GCs
So theyre giving 24 away and then with the 41,000 tokens (minus 4,800 for omis) you could buy about 200 additional kyros. So yeah kinda not the end of the world actually. And you'll still have TB tokens, and gac tokens, and ssc, and maybe assault battles if htye dont take all those away. These numbers feel... actually kinda nice which is a surprise. Now that assumes that it isnt capped out at 4 per week, but if it was youre still getting 16 + 24 from the pass itself which is still a net neutral.
