I'm 10 year player and something of whale too, and I've been holding back to see if the changes were enough to keep me interested in the game. The Era mechanism has two main purposes (even with this last updates):
- Prevent long time players like myself to use the resources (which we grinded over years) to level-up the new marquees
- Squeeze the pockets of players by creating a paywall for the gear needed to make the Era characters usable to be eligible for the "Legendary" event
Let's not even talk about the "Legendary" SpiderMaul Event. No effort was put in that event. No new mechanic. No strategy. No imagination. I miss the Malak event and the thrill of the first CLS unlock
