The 4-LOM and Zuckuss AB was released. They were the first marquees I got to 7 stars and I was entering a new pattern. Was I happy about it? Not really considering the cost. But it saved me farming shards since I have an otherwise endgame account. But the AB did not reward any crystals for the final tier. This was pretty cheap but it wasn't a "real" era so I let it go.
The first new Era is announced. Fan characters and despite you purposefully being uncommunicative, I decided to trust you. Trust that you wouldn't just pull the rug. Then - late in the era - you basically announce that getting 7 star characters will not be enough. Looking at datamined information, as we have to, and charting it out, it seemed like there was no way to get to level 80 even without spending money. But the economy had scaled during the era so maybe you would redeem yourselves. Nope. You spent money to get the 6 characters needed for the legendary event to 7 stars? Tough. You need to pay a lot of money for the legendary. This was a kick in the teeth and I had already committed to not trusting you again and not ever buying bundles to get characters to 7 stars again.
And then you release the information for the new ABs. You put the crystals back in? Great! Except... yep, you need to have spent to get the 7 star legendary for most of those and while we're at it, save up for 6 R10 upgrades for the full amount.
Are you kidding me? Do you really not understand how badly you have messed up in the past 6 weeks both in development and also in your reputation in the community? Yes, people will still whale for those 7-star NFTs you sell. There will always be someone who will pay. But there is going to be a helluva lot less smaller spenders just noping out. Well done, CG. It's in the game.
