Who said anything was "adjusted"? 

Did you already conveniently forget about the bug that allowed any 5th member to be with Gungans and the Shield Generator would still work? This is likely the result of something that changed to fix that. Fix one bug, introduce another.

What does that matter for this event? Event characters always worked differently, changing how something outside of an event shouldn’t change how it works within the event.
