It's a mobile game, it only survives because they make an effort to make money. Would you rather they give away everything for free and the game dies shortly after?
I'd rather they make money not thinking up the most dastardly way to do it and then doing something even worse.
Selling bundles, battlepasses in daily activities, the conquest, selling bundles with new characters and older characters/ships and all the materials is the pretty much enough for income, the kyros are made for slowing progression as much as possible, there’s no need in them rather than forcing u to buy them… 🥴😒😞

About what, this huge update doesnt benefit me at all, it only removes most sources of shard tokens as the marquee events will be removed, take off your rose tinted glasses and read whats posted, this update greatly benefits new players, but is very detrimental to anyone with a mid level or higher roster.
You really need to put on some glasses and re-read the post. They are removing the marquees where you have earned "all possible rewards" i.e. you can't receive anything else. Therefore all you are losing is the event that no longer earns anything, you aren't losing the events where you can still get rewards. This does not harm later game players, it does help early game players catch up however which is a good thing for longevity of the game.

Right now there is a Drogan marquee rerun, tell me how many shards are you getting from it? Lmao
The only SSC we are losing is because they are converting all those characters to 2 star characters, which means that getting them on bronzium packs will give lot less shards
If there were no bottlenecks you would progress at the game much faster without spending. Either we F2P player take our time farming and gearing what we want or become P2P to do it all much faster. That's the game we've been playing and you should know this by now
Indeed, they only added more bottlenecks with the relic mats needed for more characters, you do realise most new players wont be able to do anything with relics no matter what star characters they have... comprehension of relative matters matter.
There will always be a bottle neck. It is a farming game after all .
