I didnt read it this way. I read it more like, The marequees that come around that we cant do again cause we already have the toon. The finalizer and raddus that we cant do.
Almost everything is simmable so losing the simmable stuff would wipe out 90% of events, so im sure the cap ship events would remain simmable for the free shards.
You realize that once you got those ships to 7*s they stopped giving shards. This was done quite a while ago

Huh? They removed the shards from Finalizer and Raddus ages ago when they made their events daily. You've been staring at those events which give no rewards for a long time. Removi g them is a good thing. The other ship events which have still been giving rewards should be unaffected.

That’s not what it’s talking about. It’s talking about the marquee events when the character comes back when it gives no rewards like the ithano event that came around while quig was released.
