A few years ago, every new unit announcement and every update brought genuine excitement. Playing the game was a joy, and our guilds were thriving with activity.
But look at what has happened. Over the past year or two, the game has become dominated by extreme monetization pressure, and veteran players are retiring one after another. Now, every time I open the app, instead of feeling excitement, I feel nothing but frustration. The game has degraded into something that simply drains us.
Every player has a limit to what they can spend. No matter how much "heavy taxation" you impose, this game is not a necessity of life. People will simply shift their spending elsewhere; the number of players who can actually increase their budget is strictly limited. Those who can no longer keep up with these aggressive tactics will simply walk away in silence.
My family and I will be watching closely how things evolve after the acquisition is finalized in June. Based on what we see, we are prepared to shift our spending to zero.
