So it’s been a couple of days with no response.  I am new posting here so take this comment for what’s its worth.  Isn’t one of the responsibilities of a community manager for this game, to actually communicate with the community?  Am I wrong?

Don't expect anything. I donated last year and didn't get the promised incentives. Donate directly if you are for the charity. Buy directly if it is for the in-game value.
