Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

UNIT NAME: Depa Billaba

ALIGNMENT: Light Side

CATEGORIES: Attacker, Galactic Republic, Jedi, Jedi Vanguard

------

Key Attributes:

  • Attacker for the new Jedi Vanguard squad led by Jedi Master Mace Windu
  • Synergy with out of turn attacks and Shatterpoint
  • Final marquee unit for the Revenge of the Sith Era

Inspiration:

  • Depa Billaba was the Padawan to Mace Windu and Master to Caleb Dume (aka Kanan Jarrus)
  • As such we have subtle nods to both Mace Windu (Shatterpoint) and Kanan (70% counter chance and recovery from being inflicted with a debuff) in her abilities
  • The animation for Will of the Council is from the first episode of the Bad Batch where she fights off her own Clone Troopers to save her Padawan from Order 66
  • The title you earn for Tier IV of her Marquee is “Hotwire” which was the secret identity Depa took on when investigating the Riftwalkers pirates (from the novel The Living Force)

Strategy Tips:

  • Depa gains benefits when attacking out of turn, so finding ways to call her to assist will help her damage scale. When facing Depa, preventing her from attacking out of turn is an effective avenue to try and shut her down.
  • Though she is a stalwart and effective addition to other Jedi teams, she is at her best when partnered alongside Jedi Master Mace Windu.
  • Depa is an aggressive attacker, but her defensive stats are a bit on the low side. Keeping her safe with tanks or defensive mechanics from her allies will be crucial to her survivability.

Mod Set Bonus Recommendations

Offense x4

Crit Chance x2

FAQ:

  • How do I unlock Depa Billaba?
    • Marquee event starting at 11am on Tues June 17
  • Is she required for Jedi Master Mace Windu?
    • Yes, she is the final requirement for him, coming in at…. I’m sure no one saw this coming… Relic 5
  • Who is the ideal 5th for the new Jedi Vanguard team?
    • There are many Vanguards to choose from, but Aayla Secura receives a rework in this release that makes her particularly good here.
  • Is it one “l” or two “l”s in her last name?
    • Two, Billaba.

I’d take them, Jesse and Kix for a 332nd team and Wxer, Boil, Oron and Gregor for a 212th team

  • Super cool kit! I love her special ability stance. The abilities have looked really good recently…

Sandbagging has become a problem for guilds above 380m GP, and is making Territory War unfun.

Intentionally having members sit out and not get rewards, so that the rest of the members can move from a losing box to potentially a winning box, by fighting in a lower weight class is a bummer. That seems like an unintended game design. I don't think you're trying to incentivize players to NOT play the game. All other content is designed so that you want to participate as much as you can to get the best rewards.

Is it too much to ask that TW matchmaking is based on total guild GP, instead of total signup GP? Then the advantage would go to the guild with the most active members, and encourage players to play your game.

Look dude....I rate it, great idea, but you are talking to the wall🤣🤣🤣 the wall in your room is more likely to change color than CG to listen to their playerbase.

Create a General Anakin Skywalker-themed fleet as part of the Galactic Legends fleet, with Admiral Yularen from the Clone Wars serving as the fleet commander. Equip all 501st clones with their respective ships, and ensure that General Anakin Skywalker's Venator is painted blue to match the 501st colors.

Assign Commander Ahsoka Tano a 501st TAG and introduce new clone characters such as Jesse, Lieutenant "Hawk," and Sergeant CS-1004 "Kano," providing each of them with a ship. Ahsoka Tano can take on the role of a new leader for the 501st, commanding these clones in a manner reminiscent of the Mandalorian siege, with the clones sporting Ahsoka's helmet design in orange paint.

Additionally, in the Clone Wars, Anakin sacrifices his ship to eliminate the Separatist blockade, which could inspire a unique ability for his ships. It would also be beneficial to include Trench's ship, as they

would serve as effective counters to one another, along with a greater variety of Separatist ships.
