Why the heck clones troopers think it would be a good idea to disguise themselves as Jedi

CLONE... thought they could fool... 

...The Jedi with whom they fought every day for two whole years...

Even non-Jedi would not be fooled by this tactic.

I just can't; that scene was deleted for a good reason. I guess it's more of a reference to Lego Star Wars than anything 🤪
