Andor s1 was released during one of darkest times to be a SW fan, and thus had to completely resuscitate the fan base. It started slow, but through good word of mouth, had an excellent finish. The Acolyte was released while the public still had some hope, thus starting off really strong, but was out of the top ten shows by week 3.
Also where did you get 9.3 at? I calculated 8.3 albeit with approximated numbers
So therefore your argument has absolutely no merit, and I didn’t even have mention how terrible of a stat viewership numbers are for the quality of a show even with context.
You can like the show if you want. If you managed to get through all the drab storyline, characters making terrible decisions, physics not making any sense and things that completely disregard canon, to find entertainment value, good for you, that’s all subjective. However, don’t try to pretend it was “good” show or that it wasn’t unpopular, as those are objectively false.
