Very much appreciated.
I say this as a F2P player…
I understand why many default to not liking the new update when they first see/experience it. For a F2P, it’s hard to see things like feats locked behind paywalls. Especially when, just last week (and for YEARS before that), you could obtain those same feats for free. I totally get that cause that’s how I felt at first also.
But if you take a closer look at everything and do the math, it seems to be about the same as it was, at least as far as the reward opportunities go for the F2P peeps. There’s def been more opportunity added for those willing to pay, sure. But for those not paying, it’s about the same as it was it’s just laid out differently and more spread out then it was. In fact, there’s actually potential to earn even more rewards then before because there’s no end to the earning of points and the track can be replayed even after completion. Also, the new shop resets weekly and the new currency is obtained easily. This is huge as there are Omi’s and Omega’s (and many other things) in this shop.
This is, ofc, assuming the track can be completed for free and in a swift manner for those playing daily. Since we haven’t gotten that far yet I can’t say with absolute certainty, but adjustments are to be expected and are (clearly) being made to make this so.
So, to sum up, at worst it’s the same as before just presented and rewarded differently (not as condensed). And at best we end up with not only more rewards, but getting to choose specifically what we want those rewards to be (via the new shop), and the potential to keep earning rewards all month without stopping. Hope it pans out this way. Seems like it will so far. Things like these adjustments will only help us out.
So to CG…thank you for these make-goods and the adjustments being made. Now and in the future.
And to anyone distraught about all this…don’t be. Just take a breath and smile. It’s all gonna be okay👌
Mmmmmkay???
Sorry…couldn’t help myself. Been watching a lot of South Park lately for some reason.
