The best node to farm salvage for Carbonite Circuit Boards is LS 1-D.  It has 5 troopers for a cost of only 6 energy.  That is my plan.

That's a funny way to farm Kyrotech Shock Prods, but ok.

    I never said it was.  I was mentioning a trooper node that gives useful materials for people who need relic materials.  I don't need to farm KyroTech on a node currently.  I am getting plenty other ways and have good stash.
