To announce an event that rewards omicrons only in English, here on this godawfullest of all forums that most players haven't even found yet or would know how to navigate if they had found it (did I already mention that this forum is godawful? I haven't seen anything this terrible since before phpBB) is frankly a slap in the face.
Events need to be visible ingame, period. Be it double drops or galactic chases or whatever. You can announce them here days in advance for all I care, but once the event starts I expect a proper ingame notification. If you can't be bothered to do that, just forget about the whole thing and let's not do this kind of thing ever again. It's a ridiculous idea anyway.
Exactly, if you didn't see this or have someone else tell you about, you would have NO idea this was going on.
Not even a pop up ad in-game telling you to come here for more details.
