Quick enough to fix potential bugs when it means less player investment required to get high points in shiny new raid but bugs affecting other game modes like the one affecting GMs vs QA don't make you money so will probably never be fixed...

Why are you so adamantly defending them? It's not greedy of players to demand fun in the game they play. This isn't just "CG's" game - it only has any value because enough of us, the community, say it does. And if there's an event release, and we figure out a way to game it out with 7 R9s, they can't just come back and say "Oops! We meant you to need 15, keep paying us, suckers!" and changing the stakes. That's not healthy for the game, nor is it good relationship management with the community - not that I'd ever accuse them of being good at interacting with the community.
Besides which, it speaks to other points that have been unaddressed for years, and show in every exceptionally buggy release - CG's testing is either so small and underinvested in as to be worthless; or is ignored in order to push narratives and spending sprees. Neither reflects the state of a healthy game.
