This just reads so incredibly short sighted.
You keep gating resources behind ever increasing paywalls and moving goalposts the past few years - time-limited era battles over assault battles, a drip feed of R9 mats. All in the hopes of getting krakens to spend more.
But.... the game is dying as we speak. The gauntlet of TW is effectively dead - the top guilds don't fight anymore. GAC is an exhausting slog of an affair, especially 3v3, where the meta changes far too often. Etc. etc.
All of this is to say - every choice you make, every time you patch out player achievement, every time you shift a goalpost, you drive the final nail into the coffin of this game just a little further.
Will it die tomorrow? No. But it's clear as day the game is dying - and as I've stated before, each time you come out greedier and more short sighted, it makes us feel that the game has no lifetime left. Which discourages spending, ironically, you short-sighted incompetents. I'm guessing Ithano hasn't seen anywhere near the adoption you'd thought, because pulling a background character from the new trilogy, that has the fanbase so divided, was a bad idea without at least developing that character in lore (though this is more a Disney blame thing and not an EA point).
And, ironically, all this can't be good for business - you need continued spending. Lord knows EA needs it at the moment lol - how're those sports games faring? 🤣🤣
Now giant caveat here - this is not to say the raid isn't, at it's core, better than prior raids - shorter battles, great art, etc. etc. I wish we didn't have to worry about nerfs so we could just focus on solving the puzzle and appreciating the art and graphics team's stellar work.
TL;DR - this is not where we need fixes. Prioritize actual fixes, and make the game enjoyable again, if you care at all about maintaining revenue.
