A few comments here:
1st and most important, I want to say thank you for getting this raid off to a way better start than Naboo. I really appreciate the RNG fail happens early and overall attempts are way faster. I love the solo 300K teams, perfect for smaller guilds who want to be F2P. I also believe the Beq teams are in a good place for people to expand into mid-tear game.
Now specific to the above:
- I know you wanted to get the raid out and maybe limited your testing. But, you had the opportunity to test the crap out of these undermanned teams before releasing. This was a CG decision to release based on testing and some of the undermanned at RNG as crap which ain't fun. i.e. I won't be doing the DCT/Appo/Cx team at R9 to underman a team. Please don't punish us for what we have invested because you all made a testing balance/release date decision.
- You made a shot at limiting undermanned team. It didn't work out in the ideal way, now people have invested based on raid performance. It's not a good look for people to have spent money based on what you rolled out and then roll it back. I recommend learning from this and move on. Frankly, if you don't want undermanned teams at the higher level, simply require team size minimums like you do in select other areas. Or make it like the mace team, people have to invest in a new legendary and that legendary be required for an undersized team. Bigger testing before rollout is the key here if you don't want to hard code minimum team sizes into higher tiers.
- This raid moved a lot of emphasis on new teams, which moves towards a P2W style. I honestly don't have issue with this, but, don't lower the value of what people paid for with changes now. If you are worried about the incentives to get Pirates, make them all requirements for the GL. Let GL Hondo solo T7 at R9 with nominal RNG - people will spend to get that. Remember, for people to have these teams ready now they largely had to make $ investment decision well before we saw the raid - you nerf this and you risk alienating some spend.
- I'm worried about cumulative fixes. You fix the Fox bug and DCT bug (I'm not even clear what that is) and that may resolves some of the other issues, add in a fix to Bad Batch and that team may under perform.
- Please leave the Kelleran Beq team mostly alone, a nominal change to reduce success of undermanned Beq teams makes sense but I'm sure this is easier said than done. if this is the F2P higher tier option. Many of the other teams are just too far off for most people to drive the P2W that you need to sustain the business. This could particularly hurt the F2P base that we all need to have a strong community.
