It required careful play and a precise sequence, so it was by no means an automatic win for inexperienced players, and leviathan was always clearly the superior fleet. Whatever you do, do not make it IMPOSSIBLE to reliably beat Leviathan with Profundity. Leviathan has been buffed at least 5 times already. It's always been the best fleet once the very initial bugs were fixed. Having counters does not make it bad. It makes for reasonable gameplay.
