- Yes. (Design note: If we ever wanted a table to not include the previous entries, we would have it labeled “10 to 19” instead of “10+”).
- Is there any intention for her to be viable on a Cere Junda squad in territory wars?
- Her ideal squad should be with Baylan, but Cere is an option while you’re working towards him.
- Is purge going to be something this team will take advantage of or is it just Shin? Could Marrok be an inquisitor giving them a little boost?
- Marrok will be an Inquisitor and a Mercenary, so Purge is a pretty big part of his kit, and any references Shin has to Purge are to help synergize with him when he is on her squad.
- Will all of the existing characters listed in the mercenaries forum post be getting the Mercenary tag at the same time that Shin Hati is added to the game?
- Yes.
- Will Shin be useful in an Unaligned Force User team?
- Yes.
- With her Special 1, when it says "Shin Hati gains 10% Crit Avoidance (stacking, max 50%) for the rest of the encounter whenever each of these debuffs are resisted," is that saying the max stacks she can get is 50% per ability use or 50% total across all uses.
- 50% total Critical Avoidance for the entirety of the encounter. E.g. if 3 debuffs were resisted on her first use she would gain 30% and if 3 were resisted on her second use she would gain the remaining 20% and be capped for the rest of the encounter.
- How do you pronounce her name correctly asking for a youtuber.
- Shin, like part of your leg/shin bone, and Hati like ‘Haa-Tee’.
- Marquee events usually start on Thursdays. Shin supposedly releases on the 18th, a Wednesday. Will her marquee start on the 18th or the 19th?
- Her event will start on Thursday the 19th (fixed the original typo!).
- Is the purge synergy meant to go with a previously released Inquisitor or is it for a future release?
- It is intended for Marrok.
- Will the Soldier of Fortune unique for each Mercenary have its own individual effects, or will they be largely similar to Shin’s
- Each Mercenary released with a Soldier of Fortune Unique will have their own specific SoF-stack-counting buff for allied Mercenaries as well as their own ways of personally gaining and losing Soldier of Fortune stacks.
- Does she have a god tier datacron like Great Mothers?
- Her marquee does not have a bespoke datacron, but Baylan’s first run will

- Why the connection to Purge if she cannot inflict it?
- To synergize with Marrok, who is an Inquisitor.
- How many times can Shin use "Clean Escape" per battle?
- Once it is unlocked and she is able to keep 10+ Stacks of Soldier of Fortune, Clean Escape would have an 8 turn cooldown and be treated just like other special abilities (ie can be used repeatedly only limited by the battle itself)
- Would the cooldown of CAT's Force Leap be set to 8 or 4?
- 8.
- Any reason her kit doesn't explicitly mention synergy with Baylon or against Jedi/Rebels?
- Many times if we have synergies with unreleased units, we’ll add in those synergies when the other unit is released (like Fennec getting a Scion of Jango callout when SoJ was released). Baylan Skoll’s Unique ability calls Shin Hati and Marrok out by name. Additionally, she didn’t really have any conflict with Rebels, or even Jedi for that matter. Being a Mercenary she tends to just stick to the job at hand. It just so happens that the job we saw her do put her into direct conflict with Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, and Ezra Bridger.
- Fear has a description that says a unit needs attacked in order to have fear dispelled. The TW omi makes it so that when they get damage immunity they get fear. Is the fear going to go away as usual or does damage immunity get in the way?
- Fear will work as usual.It will expire after 1 turn or after receiving damage whichever triggers first.
- The clause "whenever enemies attack 3 times out of turn, Shin Hati gain 1 stack of Soldier of Fortune" mean that it count within the enemy turn?
- Yes. During enemies turn whenever they attack 3 times out of turn Shin Hati will gain 1 stack of Soldier of Fortune.
- With shin outside of a baylan Skoll team will shin or any other mers hsve another Merc lead aside from Baylans?
- While there are other Mercenaries that are Leaders, only Baylan will currently have the ability to hand out Soldier of Fortune stacks to other Mercenaries. As we add more Mercenary Leaders, you can expect them to also have this capability.
- “Clean escape” increases max health, is this stacking?
- No, just the 30% gain on first use. Subsequent uses will not increase the Max Health.
- What color deck is she?
- Black, White, splash Red.
