I often buy a relic pack before a new GAC to top off some toons. This time I was planning to buy the data cron pack as well because it looks to fit my roster. Now that GAC is a coin flip, I'm not buying anything - their packs now have zero value. I usually need to punch up for full clears to win and losing the ship sector kills any chance I have.
