It just seems like with the era stuff absolutely everything I've spent the past like 9 years working towards is toast and it sure feels like my roster that I've busted my **bleep** to increase is now being all but negated by making none of it relevant
What are you taking about? I guess you didn't read the whole post. You won't even be able to use Era units in GAC or TBs (for example) until after the Era ends, meaning that the rest of your roster is still used in most of the existing content.
Let's see if we can keep them out of conquest too or if that'll be the first part of breaking the promises made.

Maybe you need to read it again. TW, TB and it seems like GAC will all still exist and use your current "legacy" roster. New content will be isolated in separate events for a period known as an era. Its not that bad. Just start thinking about how many relic 10s you need in the roster.

Plz explain how this makes you roster irrelevant, is it that there is a new game mode that you can't use your roster in? Because that's there to make everyone just as powerful as everyone else. But I'm so confused about what is making you less powerful?
I mean era are basicly like marquee setting up but condensed to use it early. After the era is over they become legacy units and can be farmed and geared up like the normal way from what ever level they are at. Basicly its using characters to do bosses to get r10. Later once they converted to legacy you can build them up like normal use in tb, tw, etc.
So basicly if you have little to work on you store up gear mats for end of era to build them after. Only difference.
