Mixed feelings about this, a little disappointed, a little excited, but not surprised. Content largely focused on pushing out mass marquee characters. Oh sure - we want everyone to play with the newest Marquee characters together - seems great in theory. Instead of separating those with large rosters from those with small rosters, it'll just separate those who spend a lot of money from those who don't.
Was super excited at the list of new characters - for like two seconds, until I saw that you've already decided exactly which teams they'll sit in. Getting tired of kits being designed around a set list of characters. Synergy should have a place to an extent, but let theory-crafting do its job. Pirates was a great opportunity to release a bunch and let the teams be flexible. But nope, you've told us what the two teams are, way to take the fun away.
Relic delta is just a blatant cash grab. Agree with the premise, but the multipliers are insane. Speed will become way more important with a 150% multiplier as people try to OTK with their big expensive relics, and timeouts will be a problem with a -60% multiplier. But hey, just go spend some cash on relics and problem goes away! Hard to see how this fixes time spent in TB / conquest given enemies are usually much higher relics. Time spent in the game is a huge problem.
Really wish you'd do some QOL improvements. Mods are my pet hate, don't know why it needs to be so time consuming and difficult to upgrade and swap them. What genius came up with levelling up mods en masse, but not being able to upgrade them on en masse. How about reducing them on screen tiles begging me to buy packs. I missed the last GAC round because I didn't notice the tile there.
Looking forward to the update, but I'm not expecting it to be a positive experience.
