I can't launch the game. I have been blocked for over 24 hours. It has a loop of errors as others have described. I see dozens of other people are having the same problem, so that's reassuring, I guess. Steps I tried so far:
- reboot device, (It is a Moto g stylus 5G, running Android 12, And Google Play Games app version 2025.01.57431 and btw, my ally code is 821-146-393)
- delete cache,
- delete game and reinstall,
- tried other Android tablet (frozen on loading screen, multiple attempts),
- tried BlueStacks 4 (frozen on EA + CG screen),
- tried EA launcher and Windows client (completely worthless, because it needs a button to be pressed inside the game to link),
- technical support (needs you to send that player ID code from inside the game),
- tried on phone again
Regarding your suggestion to "step 1. Sign out of google play" ... How? When I went to the google play app and start saying I want to disconnect, it says it "might" erase all progress in all games if I proceed. I have about 10 million galactic power and I don't want to start over and create a new account. And being locked out for a day, it is irritating because I am an officer for my guild and I am unable to fulfill my duties. But being locked out and forced to quit cold turkey is also oddly liberating. Maybe this bug is pushing me to quit wasting my time on this game altogether.
This silly game does not even have a Red Five X-wing fighter, or Luke in an orange pilot jumpsuit. Seems the developers are only connected to the most superficial level of Star Wars content, whatever is the latest show coming out. My other suggestion would be to add some 3v3 TW sectors, that would stir things up. And years ago when I was playing the light side battles and dark side battles, there was this cool thing where you could have two leaders and six total on the squad. That needs to come over to PVP as well, having some 6v6 squad arena or tw modes would keep things interesting.
