I applied your solution and it goes one stage further but comes up with a new tab saying heroes is having problems with Google play services!

I can't get in to retrieve my ally code it's a samsung 25 ultra.

Don't know how to attach screenshot.

That happened to me. Click OK then Sign in again and you'll be in.
