I applied your solution and it goes one stage further but comes up with a new tab saying heroes is having problems with Google play services!

I can't get in to retrieve my ally code it's a samsung 25 ultra.

Don't know how to attach screenshot.

  Followed normal log in process from there and it seemed to refresh and briefly display my identity email from Google play, while logging into SWGOH so something synchronised.
