You could also consider changing the GA ranks. It's already been a long time since you've seen players in the lower elos with 3M more GP than you. If you go up a lot, that's up to you, but there should be a GP limit when you go down so as not to harm others. This wouldn't be necessary if they didn't do it intentionally. But unfortunately that's not the case.
