Friday Highlights - September 26th

Sul Sul everyone! 

It’s time to celebrate another Friday as we wrap up the last week of September and head into the fall season 🍂 Are you all as excited as I am for the crisp cool weather change? It’s still around 100 degrees where I am, and I can’t wait for a break from this heat! 

So what happened this week? 

• On Monday, we made it to the finale of the nail-biting elimination competition, Sul Sul Island. I won’t spoil the surprise, but you can catch up on the latest episode and see who was crowned the winner here! 
  
  
• On Tuesday, we got to jump into the new Forever Friends event with Pixel the Bear! You can read up on everything included in this event here to get your adventure started.
  
  
• On Wednesday, we got to meet a few of the Sims from Gibbi Point (I don’t know about you, but I definitely need a little more Pruella in my life) Be sure to check out their stories and lore here! 
  
  
• And yesterday we had a special livestream of Adventure Awaits hosted by Risshella as she and two pack developers dove into the newest expansion. If you missed it, no worries, you can catch up here!

Now let’s dig in to this week’s highlights! 

• With the new event kicking off this week, simgirl1010​ has created a Forever Friends Gameplay and Picture discussion so we can all show off our gameplay adventures, screenshots, and all the shenanigans your families will be up to with Pixel the Bear. Be sure to share your progress with us and any stories you’ll be telling through this event! 🧸💙
  
  
• Up next, we have a new high stakes challenge based on luck and chance created by keenow​ called the Spacewheel Challenge. In this challenge you’ll be playing as a lone astronaut drifting through space in a small capsule. You’ll have 2 different scenarios to choose from, Lost Scientist or Abductee, as you focus on surviving and rebuilding your space station. You’ll be spinning a randomized wheel and rolling dice to determine what items your Sim can purchase to rebuild your space station, and to decide your Sims fate through various tasks and challenges. So just how lucky are you feeling? Will you be able to survive and thrive floating through space? Test your luck with this challenge and let us know how you did! 🚀👩🏽‍🚀
  
  
• And if the Spacewheel Challenge isn’t random enough for you already, we have another new gameplay challenge created by sarah4664​ called the Spin 4 Life Challenge. For this challenge, every aspect of your gameplay will be completely randomized, from your Sims appearance, to traits and aspirations, and even to how you decorate your house! Your end goal is fairly simple - complete your randomized aspiration, max level 3 different skills, and complete your chosen career. So if you’re ready to tempt fate and embrace the unexpected, give this challenge a try and see what wild gameplay combos you get dealt! 🤞🤞🤞
  
  
• Most of us have been playing The Sims for quite a long time now, and some of us have been playing the same save file since we first started, with hundreds or even thousands of hours invested. So to celebrate reaching the 5000 hours played milestone, WisdomBuilders​ wants to see all of your own Forever Worlds Progress and Pictures! So whether you’ve spent years in one save file rebuilding entire worlds, playing rotationally with various families or working through a multi-generation legacy, be sure to share screenshots and stories of how your world has evolved and changed over the years! 🏠🌏
  
  
• And to close out our week, we have a sprawling split-level suburban home, Michigan Suburban Family, created by SheriGR​.
