Spin 4 Life Challenge
Life isn’t fair, it’s random. Especially in The Sims.
How It Works
- Every category the game can’t randomize is decided by the wheel.
- Hit randomize (or spin) three times per category and take the third result.
- Once your household is set, play them as they are. No re-spins unless the result is literally impossible (example: Super Parent aspiration but no children).
Categories to Spin
- Name
- Starting Aspiration
- Traits
- Likes & Dislikes
- Career
- Hobbies (2)
- Collection
- Build Style
- Décor Style
- World to live in
- Marry or Not
- Children (can be natural born, science baby, or adoption)
CAS Setup
- Randomize clothing, hair, skin tone, head shape, cheeks, jaw, eyebrows, eyes, chin, ears, mouth, nose, and nails.
- You may change swatches for clothing.
- Makeup and accessories are your choice.
Gameplay Rules
- Maximum of 3 skills linked to aspiration, career, or hobbies.
- Sims must max their chosen career.
- The challenge ends when all goals are met.
- Children must complete 1 aspiration and max 3 skills.
- Infants must reach 2 milestones in each category.
- Toddlers must reach level 3 in all skills.
(If you roll something contradictory, you may reroll that category. Example: Super Parent with 0 children.)
Variations
- Play rotationally by randomizing two or more households.
- Add your own categories (lot challenges, pets, etc.).
- Create an optional “Chaos Events” wheel to spin once per in-game week.
Why Play?
The idea is to play with situations you wouldn’t normally choose and see where the spins take your Sims’ stories.
