DA:O Invalid license. Reason code=Missing DLL:{NxCharacter.dll} Error: 0x7E.
So i recently started to play the free version of DA:O and i got hooked on it. so after few days of playng the game i bought the DA:O-Ultimate edition. The game worked fine until few days later when it started to crash time-to-time for no apparent reason, thus i went on origin and right-clicket on DA:O-Ultimate edition to repair it. After the repair the game would not start and only givign me this error message " Invalid license. Reason code=Missing DLL:{NxCharacter.dll} Error: 0x7E." I wen to the bin_ship folder and that .dll file was there. i tried running the game on admin-rights and compatibility mode for windows-7 and windows-xp servicepack 3 as sugested by EA, those didn't help. So i tried to repair fix it again, it didn't work. I uninstalled and re-installedit, didn't work. I called EA-customer support, they said to delete origins programdata folder and restart the pc with anti-virus off and re-install. did that, didn't work. They said to call them back if it didn't work but it's weekend so i was trying to fix it my self. I went online to find fixes to the problem. Re-isntalled c++ visual collor thing, Physx, i did a clean-boot and tried to repair and didn't work, so i did a thurow clean of all traces of Dragon Age after un-installing it. Clean booted again and tried to isntall it again, that didn't work. Please help me! non of the other fixes on the EA-forums or other forums helped. (before i did all this i updated my drivers) My PC Specs: Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz Memory: 16384MB RAM DirectX Version: 12 Graphic Card: 2x GTX-970 Thanks in advance! :DSolved254KViews66likes142Comments[SOLUTIONS] UNAUTHORIZED DLC or MISSING DLC

I was curious if Dragon Age Inquisition has a cheat/admin console? All the previous versions contained the ability to access a console in game which you can enter codes for weapons, skills, items, etc... I can't seem to find the console options for Dragon Age Inquisition. If Dragon Age Inquisition doesn't have a cheat/admin console, can I return the digital download and get my money back as having the fun of adding these console features is the only reason I bought the game.161KViews22likes15CommentsSoldier's Peak - Bug?
I have encountered a bug near the end of the Soldier's Peak quest, when I have to defend either Sophia or Avernus while they seal the rift. Problem is, the NPC will simply stand in place and the battle will not start. This has happened in two different ways so far: when I ask Sophia to seal the rift before I leave for the tower, and when I side with Avernus after killing Sophia. It will not work either way.SolvedAnonymous13 years ago151KViews12likes83CommentsDragon Age: Origins random crashing.
So I've updated all my drivers and I'm running Windows 10 (64 bit) and using DirectX 11. I'd restart my computer and play for a decent 40 minutes before it crashing randomly. How random? VERY. Sometimes when exiting my inventory. Sometimes when entering a loading screen. Sometimes when exiting a loading screen. Sometimes when talking to an NPC. Etc. With every crash I'd start up the game again and it would take LESS time than before to crash again(40mins the first time. 30mins the 2nd crash, etc.) The point is; it's becoming quite tedious having to quicksave after every one of my actions. I've looked into multiple forums on "Solutions" that never seem to work. I changed the affinity to use one of my cores, I'd enter "DAOrigins.exe"'s properties and set it to execute via Direct X9, I've reinstalled the game TWICE. Nothing seems to work. So any sort of possible "solution" anyone has in mind would be much appreciated. PS: to be more specific I'm using/playing "Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate Edition" via "Steam" *edit: I also keep a great many "sustained" abilities active all the time(5+ normally for each character) so it could be possible that too many particle effects might be contributing to the cause. However I've also tested lowering the visual settings to be as low as possible and the game still would crash. So I don't think that to be the case.Solved133KViews7likes14Commentsphysxloader.dll file missing from Dragon Age Origin install, game wont play
Spent 8 hours downloading this game, then when I try to run it says physxloader.dll file is missing. Uninstalled and reinstalling now, if it happens again, how do I fix it?SolvedAnonymous11 years ago121KViews22likes40CommentsWhen do Iron Bull and Dorian start flirting?
Okay, so Dorian is by far my favorite character in this game. I am overly passionate about my feelings on this character. It is all very important to me and **bleep** like that. So, I really want to see how his party banter with Iron Bull if you don't romance either of them turns out, but... I've pretty much completed all of the side missions, spent 35 hours+ on CASUAL just running around trying to get them to talk... and they've been talking, but I also have Sera in my party and it's mostly been Iron Bull and Sera discussing hilarious battle tactics and attractive women they've both noticed. How long does it take for them to **bleep** start flirting or whatever they do? I definitely feel like it should have happened like, a long time ago... but the closest thing I've gotten is: Iron Bull: So, how are you? Dorian: Ugh... The one thing I can think of that may have jinxed me is that when doing both their personal quests, I chose the flirtacious answers. Dorian because I can't resist flirting with him and Bull because they legit seemed like the best answers to me despite being romantic. So... did that **bleep** me up? Has anyone else had this issue? Also, I AM in a romantic relationship with Sera right now and have been since right after Skyhold, so it's not like the game could think I'm heading toward a romance with Bull, could it? Obviously it can't think I'm headed toward one with Dorian. Also wanted to add that some people have distaste toward Dorian and Iron Bull's relationship and have expressed that they feel it is an abusive situation, but that's not triggering for me even if it's true, and I want to judge it for myself. Also, no, I don't want to watch videos on youtube either. I will start a new game all over again and romance Josephine like I've been meaning to do anyway before doing that.SolvedAnonymous11 years ago120KViews0likes12Comments[PC] Dragon Age: Inquisition - Crash to desktop on startup, no loading symbol.
Hey there guys, my Dragon Age: Inquisition GOTY Edition has been working just fine for about 30 hours of gameplay now, with nearly no lag or stutters of any kind. This only changed when I tried to start it up from Origin lately. The synching cloud save box appears, the black window goes fullscreen but before the symbol and ring appear in the bottom corner appear, and the game crashes to desktop with no error notification. I've checked the task manager to see if its going on still in the background, but there is no trace of it. So far I have tried repairing the game on origin, totally uninstalling and reinstalling it, updating my Nvidia Geforce 980 graphics card, adjusting the 3D settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, getting the most up-to-date DirectX and turning off the origin overlay, none of which has worked. I would very much appreciate any help that anyone can give, as I have spent the best part of a week searching for a fix. Here is my Hastebin, if it helps: http://hastebin.com/bezerilimu.tex One fix I found said to delete my saves, but me being gullible has gotten me into scrapes before and I wanted to wait for a hopefully more reliable opinion, as 30 hours is a big chunk of time to invest in any game. I would say that I have a standard setup aside from the fact that I installed Inquisition on a 1 terabyte drive so it doesn't clog up my SSD. To the best of my knowledge, this didn't even happen after a patch either. If I have missed anything out please tell me, and I'll try to fill any blanks. Thanks! Mod Edit: It might be helpful if everyone experiencing this issue could post a dxdiag along with any other relevant information (see this sticky), could help pin down similarities and hopefully a cause/solution for this issue. 🙂 Another edit: Might also be useful to know what anti malware program(s) everyone has, a few people have had success with disabling or uninstalling AVG. 🙂SolvedAnonymous9 years ago114KViews17likes103Comments
