I'm frustrated with Teambuilder. Here's why.
I wanna make this as clear as possible. I don't hate Teambuilder. I really don't. But it feels like teambuilder never really wants to take that big step forward, its always one step each year. While I'm grateful for the things added, it really feels like they're not opening it up enough. Not to mention the bugs and glitches with teambuilder. Like I said, I don't hate it but man its frustraiting seeing just be so underwhelming. And there's the elephant in the room. Not having teambuilder teams usable in offline franchise and play now for madden. For the third year in a row, we do not have this. Why? I couldn't tell you to be honest. I tried wrapping my head around it, but I can't come up with the answer. This is a requested feature since teambuilder came back, and yet we don't have it. I'm sorry EA, but not everyone plays franchise online. We shouldn't have to use online franchise to use our teambuilder teams, it makes no sense. I myself, just won't buy it this year because I love to build my own football universe, but where's the fun in that when I can't use all 32 custom teams that you put hard work into in a franchise? Yeah there are workaround for that, but that's time-consuming. In older Maddens we didn't have this issue. Didn't have any bugs or glitches, didn't have a error when trying to update our teams, and I don't even know if that's patched yet. EA, please let us use teambuilder teams in offline franchise and play now. It's what the community wants. But I guess we gotta wait till Madden 28 for the feature to return right?itskenta3 hours agoSeasoned Traveler15Views1like1CommentThe Real Issue With Madden.
The developers in this game just seem to focus on all the wrong things. I can PROMISE you we dont care about "realistic fan engagement" or "updated graphics" "more realistic player models" (that you literally only see in the menus) We want more game modes especially to play with friends or online groups. 1.) Ranked team play ( not that superstar ko slop) 2) tournaments ( in game) 3) online mini games (play with friends or against others) 4) CO-OP franchise play you and friends should be able to play a career together on the same team with all the same features you get playing solo. 5) madden should create a open world concept like nbas "the park" Those 5 things would make the player base sky rocket. Every year I read what they have added and am genuinely upset. They change some graphics add a new mechanic here and there that they will eventually take out. Now my issues with madden they make it very clear they care about MUT more then anything Navigating menus is not only unorganized but choppy and slow. (Has been this was for years now) They care more about "realism" then the game itself. I can promise you besides the 5% of people that play for the theatrical affect we do not care about crowds and stadiums and special affect we care about the game. Inconsistent. Whether your on defence or offence when a ball is in the air the game pre picks whos catching that ball. It should award the player with better user control that positions himself for it. ( also taking into account player ratings) If theres a JJ or Jamar chase in a 1 on 1 with a random corner you have never heard of they should come out on top majority of the time. ( theres a literal in game adjustment to fix that) stop trying to "balance the game" let the user be in control of that balance. Speed. To often do you see a 75 speed d line chase down a 96 speed qb. Or a 88 speed corner stride for stride with a 98 speed wr. Again let the user fix that with coverage. Strength. If there is a 160lb corner tackling derick henry 1 on 1 open feild ans blowing him up that is just not possible or realistic. He can tackle him but like they do in the nfl ankle tackle. I have more issues then this but if they simply focused on even half of these it would be a better game. I would absolutely love to talk to the developers and get some insight on why these things are so hard to input because every other sports game seems to have it right. I have played madden since about madden 10. Only missed 1 madden from 2010 till 2026. So this is coming from someone who has played the game for 15+ years.2zyv6wzf24qp1 day agoNew Novice76Views3likes5Comments- tgiving102 days agoNew Traveler490Views0likes1Comment
Madden creation idea
I have a a Madden idea called animator mode. This is where players can make their own animations in the game by doing it with AI or manually make an animation these animations will only work in offline modes like quick play, etc. Also players will be able to post animations to use. in online modes players will be with regular animations. (Maybe in superstar players will be able to use custom animations that they made) this will all be in the creation center to download animations and make an animations.4Views0likes0CommentsMadden 27 Online Franchise Co-op???
It's that time of the year to ask the same question I ask every year. Can my brother and I, each with his own copy of Madden 27, play an online franchise co-op [on the same team]? Not an offline franchise couch co-op through Playshare on PS5. A legitimate online co-op franchise mode, with 2 people on different consoles playing on the same team. If anyone knows the answer, please share. Thank you.140Views1like1CommentLB Blitz
I HATE when I send a LB on a blitz through a gaping hole then suddenly stops in the gap and lets the QB complete a pass. I hope that will not be an issue this year. Stop dumbing the game down for those who don't know the X, O's of football. Create an ALL Madden skill level Quick Search Room for those that do. ThanksAce30203 days agoSeasoned Newcomer5Views0likes0CommentsWhy on Earth are the Super Bowl Champs only an 84 rating?!
After a dominant 14-3 season, blasting through everyone in their way to win the Super Bowl and have the #1 Defense in the league you give them an 84 OVR Rating?! This is outrageous, EA Sports think about this reasonably because you may think they should be that rating when they are a young team but the 2013-2014 Seahawks Super Bowl Champs were a 92 OVR with a just as young team as the current Seahawks makes absolutely no sense. They should at least be an 87 OVR after all their accomplishments in the 2025-2026 season including an OPOY. You all need to lock in and make things right because first it’s a CFB 27 issue and now already another major issue. Multi-billion dollar companies should not be making such outrageous mistakes like this and they should fix their mistakes immediately.glozzie3 days agoSeasoned Newcomer13Views0likes0CommentsThank you for adding Coach mode
I’ve been playing Madden for well over 20 years and I’ve always enjoyed franchise mode and simulation. I always liked the idea of running a franchise and actually watching the games thru slow simulation. But this coach mode addiction is literally my dream lol. To really be the coach and call the plays and watch the cpu execute. Super cool and I hope it continues to stay in the Madden games and get even better over time. Thank you Madden developers.9Views0likes0CommentsAfter 23 Years Running a Madden League, I Built a Complete Commissioner Toolkit
Hi everyone, I'm Jeff (Commish Jeff), commissioner of Madden Online Football (MOF), an online Madden league that's been running continuously since 2003. Over the past several months, I've been working on a project that organizes everything I've learned from more than 23 years of running a league into one complete resource for commissioners. It's called the Madden League Kit. The goal wasn't to create another PDF—it was to build something practical that commissioners could actually use to build better leagues. The kit includes: 🏈 League Foundation & Organization 💬 Discord & Communication Systems 🌐 Website & League Infrastructure 📈 League Growth & Social Media 📚 Commissioner Documents & Templates 🎨 Graphic Templates 🤖 AI Prompt Library 📂 Resource Packs Everything included comes directly from the systems, workflows, and resources I've personally developed while running MOF over the last two decades. If you'd like to take a look, you can find it here: https://www.mofleagues.com/leaguekit I'd also love to hear from other commissioners. What's been the biggest challenge you've faced running a Madden league?MOFCommish4 days agoSeasoned Newcomer11Views0likes0CommentsFeedback before 8/13 Release
Good morning EA Sports Madden Team, I hope you can possibly see this. Please remove speed boosting from the game, it is completely ruining the product, there is no defensive counter action that can balance it out, whatever was programmed to create it, please reverse it, I promise it will make the game so much better, I have been playing Madden for 17 years and this is one of the worst features/glitches ever added, especially for Madden, maybe for college football it makes more sense but not Madden.13Views0likes0CommentsMadden NFL 27 — Community Wishlist & Feature Suggestions
The following represents a consolidated list of feature requests, quality-of-life improvements, and presentation enhancements that I believe would significantly elevate the Madden NFL experience. Items have been grouped by theme for clarity. 🎙️ Broadcast & Presentation Commentary Overhaul: The announcing team frequently feels delayed and lacks emotional range. High-stakes plays — a last-second Hail Mary, a game-winning score — should trigger distinctly elevated, energetic commentary rather than the same measured tone used on routine plays. Team Intros: Each team should have multiple unique intro sequences, and playoff games should feature exclusive, elevated intro presentations rather than reusing regular-season versions. Halftime Show: The current halftime segment is far too brief. A cutaway presentation crew, extended coverage, or even integration of real-world archival footage would be a substantial improvement. Super Bowl Presentation: The Super Bowl experience should feel like a standalone event. This includes a unique pre-game show, a proper post-game broadcast, an on-field trophy ceremony, a ring ceremony during the following offseason, and dynamically generated branding/logos that reflect modern NFL aesthetics rather than generic placeholder graphics. Stadium Exterior Cutscenes: Establishing shots outside the stadium currently feature noticeably low-quality character and vehicle models. These should be brought up to a standard consistent with the rest of the game's visual quality. Weekly Recap: The recap should feature more than three plays per episode, and the highlight selection logic should be improved — recaps should not surface statistically implausible plays (e.g., a quarterback rushing for 76 yards) as featured moments. Logo Rendering: Team logos should not be cropped or cut off on scoreboards, menus, or any UI elements. Full logo display should be enforced across all surfaces. Real Footage Integration: Where rendering custom cinematics is resource-intensive, consider licensing and integrating real-world NFL broadcast clips for team intros, stadium packages, and commentator segments where appropriate. 🏟️ Sideline, Crowd & Atmosphere Sideline Revamp: The sideline experience should reflect what an actual NFL sideline looks like — fully realized player models, coaching staff, medical personnel, a visible sticks crew, camera operators, and cheerleaders. The density and energy of the sideline should also scale dynamically based on game significance. Crowd Behavior — Desynchronization: Crowd members should not perform identical animations simultaneously. Fan behavior should be randomized and varied to create a believable, organic atmosphere. Fan Appearance: Fans should wear team-appropriate jerseys and adapt their attire to weather conditions (e.g., visibly wearing coats, scarves, or cold-weather gear during winter games). User control over general fan attire theming would be a welcome addition. Dynamic Attendance: Attendance should reflect the relevance of the matchup — a Week 1 non-conference game should feel different from a primetime rivalry or playoff contest in terms of crowd density and energy. Opposing Fan Distribution: Visiting team fans should be distributed realistically throughout the stadium rather than being grouped uniformly or absent entirely. Lower Bowl Fan Quality: A focused improvement on the first few rows of fans — those most visible during end zone and sideline camera angles — would have an outsized impact on visual immersion without requiring a full crowd overhaul. No Duplicate Models in Primary Field of Vision: No two identical character models (sideline personnel, crowd members, teammates) should appear within the player's immediate field of view simultaneously. Player & Coach Reactions: After plays, players and coaches on the sideline and field should realistically track the action with their eyes and body language rather than remaining static. 🏈 Gameplay First-Person Mode: Introduce an optional first-person camera perspective playable from any position on the field, offering an immersive alternative to traditional gameplay cameras. Fumble Recovery Animations: The current somersault-style fumble recovery animations are unrealistic. Recovery sequences should reflect natural, physics-driven dives and scrambles. QB Sliding — Penalty Enforcement: Hitting a quarterback who has initiated a slide should consistently draw a flag. This is an existing NFL rule and should be enforced accordingly in-game. QB Hit Passing — Ball Physics: When a quarterback is struck while throwing, the ball should not travel unrealistically far downfield. The pass trajectory should reflect the disruption caused by the hit. Field Goal Line Animations: The blocking and pass-rush animations along the line during field goal attempts are exaggerated — defenders are routinely driven back unrealistically far. These interactions should be recalibrated to reflect real-world kicking game physicality. Challenge System Revamp: The challenge and referee review system needs a more engaging and realistic presentation. Currently it lacks the tension and visual detail that makes challenges feel meaningful. Injury Animations: Player injuries should unfold more realistically. The current behavior — where a player appears completely healthy and then abruptly collapses — feels jarring and breaks immersion. Injury sequences should develop more naturally from the preceding contact. Player Mouth Animations — Post-Play Interactions: During on-field player and coach interactions after the whistle, character mouths should animate in sync with implied dialogue. Static faces during emotional moments undercut the realism of these sequences. 📋 Franchise Mode NFL Draft Revamp: Draft prospects should feature higher-quality, more realistic player models reflecting their age and physical build. The draft event itself should include visible fans in attendance, and Commissioner Roger Goodell should deliver actual spoken dialogue rather than silent animations. News Tab — Increased Specificity: Trade news should surface the full transactional detail — which players were exchanged, what draft compensation was involved, etc. — rather than a generic headline. The News tab should read like a legitimate NFL transaction wire. Scouting System Overhaul: The current scouting experience is repetitive and lacks engagement. A more dynamic, discovery-driven scouting system with greater variety in how prospects are evaluated would significantly improve the pre-draft process. Normalized Stats (Similar to NBA 2K): Implement a system where users can play shorter quarters (e.g., 5 minutes) and have stats automatically normalized to reflect a full 15-minute-quarter game. This would allow for a more time-efficient franchise experience without sacrificing statistical authenticity. Eras Mode: Introduce a franchise mode variant set in specific historical NFL eras, allowing users to play with or against legendary rosters and teams from past decades. Historic Teams: Include iconic past franchises or all-time rosters. A full roster is not required — featuring the iconic players from each era would be sufficient to make this mode compelling. Real Offensive and Defensive Coordinators: All OC and DC coordinator positions should be filled by real, named NFL coaches. Where a head coach also serves as a coordinator, that dual role should be reflected in the game's coaching structure. Retired Jersey Numbers: Retired numbers should be recognized and protected within Franchise Mode, preventing them from being assigned to new players. Dynamic Championship Banners: Division titles, conference championships, and Super Bowl wins should generate dynamic, realistic-looking banners displayed within the stadium environment. Pre-Season Roster Customization: Preseason roster management and depth chart rotation should be more granularly customizable. Current options do not offer sufficient control over how players are utilized during the exhibition schedule. AI-Generated Player Realism: Randomly generated players should feature more realistic physical attributes for their age and position, and their appearance should be procedurally varied rather than defaulting to generic base models. Jersey numbers assigned to AI-generated players or newly signed free agents should also reflect position-appropriate numbering conventions. Pro Bowl — Fully Playable: The Pro Bowl should be a fully interactive, playable game within Franchise Mode rather than a simulated result presented through a static menu. Restored Roster Menu Navigation: Reintroduce the legacy roster sidebar that allowed users to browse the full roster from a persistent panel without needing to click into individual player cards. This was a significantly more efficient interface for roster management. QB Archetypes and AI Presets: All real NFL quarterbacks should play in a manner consistent with their known style and tendencies. For AI-generated quarterbacks, a set of distinct, varied presets should ensure meaningful stylistic differentiation between players. 🌐 Miscellaneous & Quality of Life Zero Clipping — Enforced Across All Contexts: No player model, equipment, hair, or environmental asset should pass through any other object under any circumstances. This should be a baseline technical standard applied universally. Ball Into the Stands — Interactive Crowd Response: When the ball travels into the stands, a fan should visibly interact with and return it, similar to how NBA 2K handles balls going out of bounds. The current invisible barrier solution is immersion-breaking. Key Moments — Scope and Selection Improvements: Key Moments should more frequently include opening drives, kickoffs, and other special teams plays. Additionally, the scoring threshold logic should be adjusted — not every key moment should revolve around a scoring play, and games should not feel artificially high-scoring as a result of the selection algorithm. Play the Moments / Sim Field — Clean Player State: When transitioning into a simulated or key moment sequence, the field should be fully cleared of any residual player models from prior states.TheRealTree104 days agoSeasoned Novice73Views3likes1Comment- 34Views1like1Comment
Madden 27 And college football 27 feature request
I’m asking EA to add custom schedules to madden 27and college football 27 college football already has custom schedules, but I want it to be no limit to how many teams you put in the schedule and it’s not in Madden so I would like to add it to Madden 27 custom schedules and also don’t make it any limit7Views0likes0CommentsQuestion about basic game modes
Where is the “play now” feature to allow a 2v2 between my friends with actual rosters? This is a basic game mode that should be in the game! Heck even allowing a 4v4 online would be awesome! shouldn’t be restricted to playing MUT or other game modes just to play with friends. Disappointed yet again and will be voting with my wallet.TodaysKiller7 days agoRising Novice9Views0likes0CommentsPlay recommendations
A few years ago, you guys have promoted "If you see it on Sundays it'll be in the game" . I've been waiting patiently for the attached plays or play types to be inserted into the game specifically into Mcvays playbook and have yet to see this kind of creativity. I know there have been similar fullback toss plays out of iform or strong formations but these fake jet toss and screen plays out of under center bunch and pistol bunch sets are diffrent. And opens up a whole new scheme potential for the offense. Please add these as well as the fake jet HB PA screen play. If you need a reference, check out the Rams 2023/2024 season. If I'm not mistaken, that's when the majority of these were ran. The only other team I've seen run a similar set is the Bears that same seasonSmokinguns2199 days agoSeasoned Novice27Views0likes0CommentsStuff to make game better
Hello EA Sports Team, My name is Olayemi, and I’m a longtime Madden player. I wanted to share an idea that I believe could make Superstar Mode much more immersive. I really like the direction EA Sports FC has taken with The Grounds and giving players more freedom outside of matches. I would love to see Madden adopt a similar approach by creating a larger open-world environment for Superstar Mode. Imagine starting in college, preparing for the NFL Draft, getting drafted, signing your first contract, and then experiencing the full life of an NFL player. Some features I would love to see include: A larger open-world hub for Superstar Mode. Buying homes and cars. Training facilities and practice fields that players can visit. Team travel and offseason activities. Contract negotiations, endorsement deals, and financial management. More interactions with teammates, coaches, and fans. A story that continues throughout your NFL career instead of only focusing on your first season. I think combining realistic football gameplay with a deeper off-the-field experience would create the most immersive football career mode ever made. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback and for continuing to improve Madden. Sincerely, Olayemi16Views0likes0Comments
