Common Tapped Out Game Issues and Solutions
Re-downloading all the time: Make sure you have and keep 10-15 gbs of free space at all times. IOS may need 10% of total free and it lies to you. Regularly clear the history of spotify and safari if you use them. Turn off offload apps. Already Own this Item Bug: It is an issue with the play store if android, or whatever store your device uses. Fix it by going into apps, going to google play store and deleting all data. then log in to the play store again and it should be fixed. Clearing cache does not work you have to clear all data. Characters are stuck in a building for a task: Milk it for as long as you want by going in and out of town to collect money and xp over and over. To escape it, store the building, go to friends and back place the building back. If you can't store the building, store a building that will store someone who is stuck. go to friends and back and then put that building back. Warning your other device did not save: This is usually a glitch and you will not lose anything. Tap Play Now and Continue. Do his quest first and those tasks should return Princess Opal’s task stuck: This task has been broken since she was first in the game. EA has to fix it. Cannot send anyone using the Job Manager: If you just got it, you probably have to finish the questline before you can use it. Or, you probably have a task for all Springfielders. Finish that task or if it is a daily challenge, dismiss it, go to friends and back then try again. Yahweh's 24 h task for 7 donuts disappeared: You have to do steps 1-7 for 4 hours each in order then step 8 is the 24 h task for donuts. Lost money and xp when the game crashed during farming:Don’t place too many RTT or BM at a time or tap too many KEMs at a time. I have the Mo’s skin on Moe’s Tavern and cannot change it back: This skin is placed during Rollerskate Smithers quest and will stay until you store Moe's and then bring it back out. There is a building called Golden Goose Realty that produces them but it is not available all the time. No one knows when it will be back, but it does usually show up in the Gold Box at Black Friday that you must buy tokens for with real money. Old event tasks: The game lets you finish whatever part of the prize track you were on when the event ends. The only way to get rid of the tasks leftover is to finish them Righteousness rating:Only EA knows how it works. Some combination of graffitiing neighbors, cleaning up any graffiti in your own town and having characters do good or bad jobs. Just buy enough training walls that you get to 5 stars. You may need more for every level up to level 60. Just hide them behind buildings in your town. Golden Goose Realty, God, Yahweh, Costmo, Lard Lad Donut Factory: These are very useful items to have but the only one you must have is GGR. God appears randomly last time was March 2023. Do you have multiple characters stuck on a task in a building?
There are frequent posts from players who indicate that they have multiple characters in a building on a task, but when they clear it they don't release. This is common when a large number of characters are in a building on a task, usually 50 or more. If you clear them, it pays out but they don't release. If you go to friends and back, they are all finished again and you can collect again. THINK ABOUT THAT, free revenue. When you get tired of the grind, if you store the building, they will release. If the building can not be stored, like the Simpsons house, you will need to store a different building that gives one of the characters that is stuck. For instance storing Moes will store Moe and Marge. So if they were stuck, storing Moes would release them. Hope this helps.- EA_Lanna5 months ago

You need 10 Points, 3 Posts and have an account older than 3 days to become a Member. Everyone joining the forum for the first time start out with 0 Points, you can then increase your points to become a Member. You can check your point total by clicking on your profile points are seen on the profile: I mean, if I can get over 500 while working for EA, it shouldn't be too hard right? How do I earn points? 1. When someone reacts to your post, by hitting "Insightful", "Agree" or "Like" your post you get 1 point: 2. By earning forum badges, with your day to day activity. For instance by commenting on topics, getting a certain amount of reactions or even anniversaries badges. Here are some examples: Being a "new member" has certain disadvantages. New members can't post or upload images. New members cannot post links or use formatting /BBcode (italics, bold, etc). New members can not add signatures. New members can not have a profile picture. Tips for dealing with the piece of crap that is EA Help?
Hello there, As I posted in another thread addressing my current game issue (almost all of my content has been missing since the Krustyland update), I am super fed up with EA Help. They have been extremely unhelpful throughout this entire ordeal. I wish to only use email to contact EA Help. I do not have the time or energy to hold a conversation with a live person (being a college student is rough). However, I can see no way to reply to a Help email. Replying directly to the email produces a generic "you cannot mail this address" response from the EA bot. Going back to my case only gives me the option to perform a live call or to review their basic Tapped Out help page (which I've already scoured numerous times). If emailing doesn't work, must I do a live call? Is that really the only option available? At this point, I just want a rollback to before the Krustyland update. I have nothing to lose; I've barely played since my town got effed up. But even telling them directly that I've tried everything and nothing has worked it still elicits their generic responses. Is there any way I can expedite getting ahold of a tech support person who can actually help me? I'm tired of talking to low-level peons who keep spitting out possible fixes that I explicitly told them in my email that I've already tried. I've tried being polite and firm, but I still have gotten no results. I've already submitted a ticket for the exact same issue 7 times! I just want a rollback; I'm at the point where I'd rather sacrifice my town to hackers than have to deal with the stupid bureaucracy that is EA Help. So, has anybody else had super irritating ordeals with EA Help? How did you eventually get your issue resolved? How many tries did it take? Did you HAVE to call someone to get it fixed?
