Re: Sims 4 DLC sale!

@GH0STK4NKR1  EA tends to not announce sales until they start—after all, who would pay full price knowing there was a sale approaching?  But the sales do tend to appear around holidays, a few times a year.  There was one over the winter holidays, and there's one going on now.  (I think there may have been a surprise sale in between, but I don't remember.)  Currently, only the TS4 base game and expansion packs are discounted, but other sales may include game or stuff packs.

(Here's the link, since characters in the address turn into an emote.)

Another option you may want to check out is the build your bundle function.  You pick one each of an expansion, game pack, and stuff pack, and save money relative to the full price of each.  There are also prebuilt bundles that are sometimes on sale, although it looks like they're full price now.  Here are the ones I found:

You can subscribe to EA emails through your EA.com page.  The option should be with the other privacy settings.

I understand not announcing it so some people will still pay full price, but you mentioned I should sign up for the email newsletter, which I already am. My complaint is I don’t get any news often, I don’t know if they didn’t send one, but I didn’t even receive one for the game going on sale now.

I’ve already purchased the game before hand, I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t put the EP’s on sale too as it’s a holiday weekend/week.

All of the other newsletter/email programs I’m signed up for normally send one out every three weeks to a month.

@GH0STK4NKR1  The expansion packs are on sale right now, even if the rest of the content is not.

You might want to check to see whether any EA emails are getting caught in the spam filter.  I've had that problem recently across several EA-related platforms.  Adding the address as a contact may help.  I have no idea whether there was an announcement of this sale, but even if EA isn't sending alerts, it's easy enough to pop into Origin now and then to look for sales.  I have yet to see a sale that lasted less than a week.
