topped 1.2M on my second try with Enlightenmint

must place mints in first 5 seconds or not as effective; especially Enlightenmint !

I waited on my first try and Enlightenmint did not function at all as it froze before 'growing' the Sun-shrooms !!!

I still eeked out a victory but it was close until the last 10 seconds

Guess I'm already done for this tournament...got my 4M score with mid level plants and my 3M score with level 1 plants. Let's hope the bug won't be patched before Boosterama, would love to try out a frozen Ail-mint strat!

It probably won't be patched, it's a very short Tournament. I heard Zack Scott talk about the bug, but said he didn't know how to do it, so he stayed less than 1M with high Level Plants 😂 Takes 2 seconds of research. Anyways, I'm sure they already know about it, but then again, I remember "The Zombie King" bug lasted a long time.

My guesses are

a) Have been playing Battlez Arena for a long time

b) Have been giving $$$ to EA

c) Have been hit by the infamous resource doubling bug

d) Moding the game file

e) Have a bad day and could not concentrate

f) getting old and hand-eye coordination is not as good as it used to be

g) Hitting the 'Let's Rock' button before placing any plants down

Take your pick, for me (my own excuse) it would be a, f, g and possibly e. 👿

People don't visit Zack Scott for his play skill level, they visit for him. His plants are high level because he's been playing a long time and he has no qualm buying Plants/Bundles for any and all games.

Easily, Gem Pinatas assist in this. Especially if you purchase various Bundles, play your quests and hit Ads daily. Yes, it may take alot longer if you only do a few of these or don't play that much.

I am pretty surpised when I found out that the plant I have the most level is torchwood 🤷‍♂️(Premium plant and not F2P plant)

Premium plants have the most seed drops from Arena.

Even more so during a Torchwood quest as we had a while back.  And do not forget to add in the Bonus seeds from buying World Pinatas !

Boosterama will be so much fun! My prediction: double imp pear,ail mint,sun shroom and bowling bulb

Only played two practice matches...we might be able to get the 8M!

First one to get 8m with level 1 plants gets a smugprize!😉

I did that on purpose to save the 8M for the real tournament!!! 😂

You need to kill the Imps. When you use Imp-Pear Zombies are turned into imp. When you 'use' Imp-Pear on an Imp it will die and release a fart-cloud that stuns Zombies behind him (which you don't want because you want the zombies to come out asap). I use JOLs to kill the Imps and use Pepper-Mint to boost the JOLs.

Edit: You won't see a difference in score when you use this strategy with mid level plants since Imp-Pear is boosted with Ail-mint 😉

Just wondering if I substitute imitator with shrinking violet would bring easier game play.  The trick is to use Imp pear first to turn zombies to imps, them immediately shrink the imps with shrinking violet.  You lot can try this out first and sadly I have to wait till the weekend as I am all tied up with works.

@Coldwind73 Sure, I'll record a video later today. The strat includes a lot of tapping on the JOL to kill the imps 😉

It was my first game of the tournament so I'm not very used to digging up the Imp-Pears yet. It's a very annoying strategy and I think I will just try to get the 8M and then call it a day^^
