Re: How Do You Play Party Citron?

Party characters are basically causal variants for a more lighter single player experience. If you decide to take ANY of these classes into multiplayer, well you'll understand....

What do you mean? I get the top score using this character its just a matter if you can aim and if you have skill. I gotten party mode like 7 times with this weak character. Yes its hard to get the 5 vanquishes for party mode but when I do I usually end up with a streak more than 10.

@ShavedThronel0  all i'm saying is that they require a different level of "patience" or skill, that I personally lack, in order for the Party variants to compete with the regular classes. Yes you can be great with any class, but the extra effort it takes to get there, it is just not worth it for me. They are still weak and need to be addressed properly.

I have mastered the normal and Ice Citron. As well as almost mastered Iron Citron and ranked up Party Citron a few times. Party Citron is pretty hard to be effective with in multiplayer. His damage is so low. You kind of have to stay back and snipe with him. You get a lot of assists and a few kills here or there. You really don't want to be fighting up close with any citron really. Use EMPeach as a means to get out of a bad up close situation like a Super Brainz spin attack or Impkata attack.

for the person who mentioned Iron Citrons short comings, I have to disagree with you. Again, he is a long to medium range fighter. His single shot Mech Breaker is a sniping machine. I constantly am picking off imps and scientists. I can usually even crush up close fighters like Super Brainz by EMPeaching them and then hitting them for 50 damage 4 times. Plus when you get into Iron Mode, Iron Citron really shines. I can take out a whole bunch of characters really quickly.

I don't even have the second reload up grade yet. I am not trying to sound like am am talking down to anyone, but in order to be good with iron citron, your aim has to be spot on in most cases. No spray and praying.

Oh also, Ice Citron is amazing. Especially once you get the freeze and overheat upgrades.

Yeah, It's a character that is decent as a support role, but isn't very good when your team sucks and you need to push the team forward by yourself..

I just played a round with party citron, got top of the board with 49 kills but everytime I got to 4-5 kills, there were several zombies flanking and just couldn't make use of the party mode (team only had one other good player, rest were not good)..

It's just underpowered in comparison to the other citrons. They didn't think it through. A character that does 2 to 4 damage at any range without an extra effect (like fire, toxic etc) is just bad by design.

The party citron used to do up to 6 damage without party mode and up to 9 damage with party mode.. Why they ever thought a -50% base damage drop would be a good choice is beyond me..
