Re: Online login is currently unavailable

Hey @Paethgoat,

Is this happening when you try logging into the actual Origin launcher as well, or just on the website?

It seems your login information is working properly since you're able to sign in and post here, so if this is only happening on the Origin website it may be worth clearing the cache and cookies on your web browser, or even trying a different browser altogether.

If you've downloaded Origin and are having the same issue in the launcher, please try clearing the Origin cache to see if that helps out.

  • Not sure if I should make a new topic about this but I am having same issue kind of.  I am able to login to the origin website but can't login to the origin program.  It says online login currently unavailable.  I googled this and found the EA solution which is to delete certain folders and app data.  I did that and when I opened origin program for the first time after doing that, the message was not there but as soon as I put in my info, it came back.

    Hi @Hammerhead2500,

In this case it might be a good idea to check out if there are any programs that are conflicting with Origin.

The usual suspects are the anti-virus, firewalls, etc.

You can read more about it in our Help EA article about closing background applications. This is not the only solution though, you can also try performing a clean boot of Windows and only boot up Origin after you are logged into your Windows account.

Hi @EA_Mako . I am having the same issue with Origin. I'm on mobile though, but that shouldn't matter. I have tried now on 2 different phones and several different browsers. The regular EA signins work, just not on Origin. Before you ask why not on PC, mine got burgled a few weeks back, part of the reason why I want to make sure all's good. I was able to change my login on the phone though, but now I can't get into my Origin account.

Any suggestions? It seems like it's a cybersecurity thing? Origin being the place where you actually spend mula?

    Hey @psylentrage76,

That is a bit strange as the Origin login should be the same as your EA login. If you're able to get signed into the EA website otherwise, I'd definitely reach out to support so an advisor can check over the account and make sure all is well on this end also.

    Hey @EA_Mako

Thanks for the reply. Sorry for my late coming back to you.

So, I gave it a while to see if things come right, but no go. My login has been safely changed on EA. No worries there.

Here's the issue though in a screenshot. This error pops up as soon as I hit the "sign in" button. That's all that happens. And this happens on different phones, does not matter the aervice operator nor does it matter if I use Fibre. And neither does the browser matter. This I get on ALL mobile devices. There is no check back later. It's just always this error. Why isn't there an ORIGIN mobile app? Like Steam. It would make it far less painful. Don't you agree?

    Anyways, thank you again.

    Regards

  • Hi @EA_Mako I got the same error the different is I got the same problem even when try to log in from browser. Ea support, ea app refused to connect in browser on my pc.

Im currently using mobile phone and all working correctly even my brothers laptop has no issue.

I have this problem for a year, can't seem to find solution, the one that I haven't try is disabling USB socket from panel thats to risky

So I haven't downloaded the app so it's definitely wasn't the issue, now I'm pretty much hopeless.
