@ElaMcDowell If you were to partition your hard drive and install Windows on one side, your Mac might be great for gaming, depending on which model you have. The 16" MacBook Pros have hardware capable of running Sims 3 (and Sims 4, if you play) on ultra graphics settings. The issue is the software, and in Windows 10, there's no issue running 32-bit apps.
My MacBook Pro is a 2017 model with a different (and slower) graphics card, and I've been able to play Sims 3 quite well on it via Bootcamp. Sims 4 makes it run hot, but I don't really play that game anyway, so it doesn't bother me. The only question would be whether the Bootcamp drivers work well enough, and I think they should; plus, I haven't seen any recent complaints about not being able to play Sims 3 on a Bootcamped Mac.
