How to play *single player* Origin Games offline + a hard truth

This is a fix for Origin off-line mode if you are not connected to the internet...

FIRST - *IF* you know you are going to be disconnected for any amount of time - while you still have a connection to internet -

. Sign in as normal

. Find the *offline mode* in your settings *OR*

. CTRL+SHIFT+W

BOOM! you are now offline and can play almost any single player game in this mode (it will persist for about 60 days before you have to do the online secured sign in again)

**THIS IS NOT MY FIX - THIS COMES FROM SOME OF THE FORUMS HERE**

PLEASE NOTE: Launchers like Origin/EA/ETC *do not care* that you are going to lose the internet... I say this, because even though you **THINK** you have **BOUGHT** the game; you *have not actually bought the game!!! - you are only RENTING that game/s

It is the same with every single launcher... it is the same with XBOX and the PS series of consoles... it is the same for **ANY** digital purchase... **you are only RENTING digital software**

This means that if any company was to close down that gives you an option to buy digitally then you will no longer have access to them and that company which has closed down has ZERO obligation to keep allowing you to play any game you have *BOUGHT* from their site/store/launcher - because *Legally* you are only *renting*

So Angst and agro which states **HEY! I bought this so i ****** own it!!!** is null and void because... ok sure... you BOUGHT the product... but you have never *owned* it.

I know it sucks, but that is the *legal* truth - now go and enjoy your offline play for as long as you can - or find... other means ... to do so
