hi i need your immediate help. I bought sims 4 last night on origin with my macbook. i tried downloading it to play and it says. /users/my username/applications/the sims/4.app/ contents/coderesources_Dio_STAGED.

it also says i need to cancel and restart download to another location even tho i have and i’ve changed the wifi. please help me

Oddly enough but as I was reading your message I saw the "Dio_Staged"  bit just as a song by Elf, a band fronted by Ronnie James Dio started to play.

i figured out how to fix that issue. now i’m surprised with another issue which is really annoying. it was telling me something about needing to say yes to windows, even tho i have a macbook. and i tried to delete and restart the game but it wouldn’t work and now the sims is stuck loading on zero hours zero minute zero seconds and just won’t move at all. i’ve been dealing with problems all of last night and today and i just wanna play. please help

Hey @tianakhuffash have you tried to reset Origin on your Mac?

Do you have a screenshot of the error message that you are seeing?

the error message went away for the say yes to windows thing now it’s stuck frozen and i have no idea what to do. i have the origin thing downloaded and it wont let me sign out or quit the game. it’s been stuck like this for 30 minutes

My laptop auto resets windows and now playing on my laptop extremely difficult although I can play it on my computer sims3 drags so I play sims 3 on laptop now having issue with sims 3

@poetinaI forgot to add, i have it on my desktop and my laptop. they are right next to each other, i use them for different things. as for the resets I have just reset the hp to factory settings and kept my files and this is where the new trouble began.

administrator is already activated. I also did the trouble shooting. right now i'm in the midst of re-downloading the sims manually.
