Playing on Nokia 1.4 (Android OS 11 ToGo) -- Penny's Pursuit & BattleZ fail
See subject.
The Nokia 1.4 has a big screen, bigger than my main phone so wanted to play on it.
It has only 32 GB of storage, but I added a 128 GB microSD card to extend that, lots of (shared) storage free now.
Android OS 11 has been updated, with latest updates up to Sept 1st 2023.
(no SIM card in the Nokia, only WiFi Internet used)
The game works great in general!
I was able to login to my account to get all my progress/coins/etc - my main device is a Xiaomi Mi A1 64 GB (on Android OS 9.0).
The singleplayer missions/Worlds work fine on the Nokia 1.4. And gameplay is very smooth, maybe even better than on the Xiaomi.
(Note: I completed the singleplayer Worlds missions years ago.)
The current limited time quest works fine too. Store works as well!
But if I try to open BattleZ or Penny's Pursuit, game says it needs to (re)download data and then that always fails - sometimes 1/2 into the progress, or around 1/3 of it. Tried repeatedly, no go!
Then I am forced to choose "Cancel" to stop the update, and game goes back to previous screen and works.
(i.e. there is no crash or freeze)
Anything to do to fix this from my side?
If not, do you guys plan to fix this in a future update of the PvZ2 Android game?
If you need more info or screenshots, please tell me.
